Summer Fishing

July and August.  The beginning of the summer and early fall run of Chinook Salmon. Fall Chinook range from 16 to 55 pounds, the average weight is around 25 pounds.

These fish stay near the mouth of the Rogue River until they make their fall migration up the river to spawn.
