September through December.

During these months the winter steelhead are coming into the Rogue River. This is a time of action packed fishing. These sea run rainbows or "half pounders" are a hard fighting fish. They range from 2 to 5 pounds.

In October, the Rogue River has a large run of Coho Salmon. These "Silvers" usually range from 6 to 12 pounds and give you a nice fight.

November, is the late run of Fall Chinook Salmon. These fish go to the smaller streams after the first rains in the fall.

The Elk and Sixes Rivers have nice runs of these Chinook, ranging from 20 to 30 pounds.
